Today the Diamine 2022 Inkvent Calendar gave us a “chameleon” ink called Solar Storm. It is difficult to photograph and changes constantly in the light. At it’s base it appears purple, but can give a glimmering green cast and a shiny, shimmery gold sparkle by turns as the light plays with it. Enjoy Tolkein Day today by raising a glass and offering the simple, traditional toast: “The Professor”. And learn a little bit about the rheas.
