A month of ink that left an overall bright impression, which is most helpful for Northeast Ohio in February. I’m not sure it’s possible to rank these from worst to best, so here are some “awards” for the month:

Best Black: Diamine Black Ivy (which is a subtle Green-Black with a hint of red in the right light)

Best Red/Yellow/Orange: Pilot Iroshizuku Tsutsuji

Best Blue: Pilot Iroshizuku Asa-gao

Best Turquoise/Green: Ferris Wheel Press Morningside Mint

Well, if I have to pick one ink, it’s gonna have to be… Diamine Writer’s Blood. With honorable mentions to almost all the others.
