11 April 2024 – Noodler’s Whaleman’s Sepia

Today we reach the end of my Noodler’s collection, and it’s an ink that pays tribute to the owner’s forebears, who were generations of whalers in the North Atlantic. It’s a terrific sepia worthy of anyone’s collection.

Noodler’s Whaleman’s Sepia
“No line was cut, no whale was freed, The Captain’s mind was not of greed, And he belonged to the Whaleman’s creed, She took that ship in tow (huh). Soon May the Wellerman come, To bring us sugar and tea and rum. One day, when the tonguin’ is done, We’ll take our leave and go.” –The Wellerman
