The name means “moonlight”, but if you ask me to describe it, I’d go with “Shin-kai on steroids”. On a basic level, this is a basic blue. But it just has so much going on that it hard to boil it down to a one-word description of its color. So, it’s a shading sensation!!!
Pilot Iroshizuku Tsuki-yoMoonlight“Tsuki-yo translates to ‘Moonlight’. The ink, when wet, appears as a rich blue-black, it when it dries it fades to a somewhat dark teal, and hints of blue-green emerge. On certain paper, be when you re writing with a wet nib, you get some pretty good red sheen.” -The Gentleman Stationer
