23 June 2024 – Diamine A Dip in the Pool

Well, that’s it! Those are the only bottles of ink I own. Except for bottles of ink I own produced by Diamine. If you’re looking for Diamine ink, you can get them at crazy economical prices from Cult Pens out of England (though I have heard rumors there have been shipping issues in the US). Diamine have been manufacturing since 1864. They moved to Liverpool in 1925, and now their building is next to the famous Ainlee race Track. So, I must have more than 190 bottles of Diamine, and they’re coming your way in alphabetical order between now and the end of the year! Today we have the first of a series collab with Cult Pens, and… it’s not my favorite. It’s a lovely color, just not enough saturation for me, and it writes a little dry (or did in my pen).

Diamine A Dip in the Pool
There’s still time for a dip in the pool; lots of Summer left!
“‘Dip in the Pool’ is a macabre short story by British writer Roald Dahl, originally published in the 19 Jan 1952 edition of The New Yorker. It later appeared in the collection Someone Like You.” -Wikipedia. “On the morning of the third day the sea calmed. Even the most delicate passengers emerged for their cabin and crept onto the sun deck where the deck steward gave them chairs.” -from Dip in the Pool by Roald Dahl
