    This is an ink honoring a freedom fighter. Park Sang Hak is a North Korean who has escaped to South Korea and fights for democracy to come to his birthplace.     Another terrific color. Any time I see an ink that is attempting to be a “less than primary” color (today not red, but some muted red) and that seems attractive, I’m impressed. Not sure if I actually should be, but it seems complicated to me to produce such a shade.

  • 1 April 2024 – Noodler’s Kiowa Pecan

    The Kiowa Tribe migrated south from Montana to Colorado and eventually to the southern plains. In 1867, they were forced on a reservation in southwest Oklahoma. The Kiowa language is in danger of going extinct: as of 2012 there were only 20 speakers (of about 12,000 Kiowa ). Today’s ink is a moderately saturated orange-red.
