Fire Bug 1 part Fire Hydrant 1 part Ladybug The two reddest inks in the Atomink Elements collection meet each other today, and the result is: red. Looking very close to yesterday’s Fire Amaryllis, but without that pinkish hint.

Fire Amaryllis 1 part Amaryllis 1 part Fire Hydrant Amaryllis will be exiting the dance floor for at least the next six days, but the last dance on her card is a beautiful waltz with Fire Hydrant. FH is a powerful red, and Amaryllis adds just that little something to it to soften it up,…

Teaberry Amaryllis 1 part Amaryllis 1 part Teaberry Ice Cream My only question today is whether I’d be able to separate Teaberry Amaryllis and Salt Water Amaryllis in a lineup. I’m not sure I could. Thing is, the different ingredients in each do not look identical in the bottle. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Salt Water Amaryllis (Bubble Gum?) 1 part Amaryllis 1 part Salt Water Taffy Continuing our red ink 1:1 inksperiments, today we made bubble gum! In fact, I wonder if that should be its name.

Lady Amaryllis 1 part Amaryllis 1 part Ladybug I just can’t get over how nice these colors are. Sure, I’ve made a little bit of mud. But these inks really do combine beautifully. Here’s the first of ten 1:1 red on red.

Fire Ash 2 parts Fire Hydrant 1 part Stoker’s Ash Our last Stoker’s Ash collab today features the reddest red of the Atomink Element inks: Fire Hydrant! This is a beautiful, rich, burgundy ink. Starting tomorrow we’ll have ten days of 1:1 red meets red action, so stay tuned!

Stoker’s Tea Time 2 parts Teaberry Ice Cream 1 part Stoker’s Ash Each of these four reds (tomorrow is the vibrant red Fire Hydrant’s turn on the dance floor) has produced a subtly different elegant ink when combined with Stoker’s Ash. I’d be really hard-pressed to choose my favorite!

Ashy Taffy 2 parts Salt Water Taffy 1 part Stoker’s Ash Very close to Stoker’s Ladybug, but I love both of these differing shades quite a bit. Separately and together. And each of their component inks. This makes me wonder about combining the reds either each other.

Stoker’s Ladybug 2 parts Ladybug 1 part Stoker’s Ash Stoker’s Ash is a winner in its collaborations with the first two of February’s red inks. Yesterday it produced a nice lavender grey in the lab with Amaryllis, and today we have a grey dusty rose with nice shading. Will Stoker’s Ash dance as well with…

Amaryllis Ash 2 parts Amaryllis 1 part Stoker’s Ash Now we’re moving on to the five “reds” in the Atomink Element collection. Over the next five days, we’ll mix each of them with Stoker’s Ash, just to see what applying a grey-black does to these colors. Today’s lab result is a very nice lavender with…
