    7 April 2024 – Noodler’s Park Red

This is an ink honoring a freedom fighter. Park Sang Hak is a North Korean who has escaped to South Korea and fights for democracy to come to his birthplace. He has launched over two million balloons towards North Korea, many of which reach the capital. The balloons are filled with pro democracy, anti communist…

    6 April 2024 – Noodler’s Ottoman Rose

Another terrific color. Any time I see an ink that is attempting to be a “less than primary” color (today not red, but some muted red) and that seems attractive, I’m impressed. Not sure if I actually should be, but it seems complicated to me to produce such a shade.

    4 April 2024 – Noodler’s Navajo Turquoise

This one is a stunner! There are people who focus almost exclusively on teal/turquoise ink (what the difference is, I have no idea, it then again… House Divided!). This one is commendable for such a person, and also for any who enjoy gorgeous ink.

    1 April 2024 – Noodler’s Kiowa Pecan

The Kiowa Tribe migrated south from Montana to Colorado and eventually to the southern plains. In 1867, they were forced on a reservation in southwest Oklahoma. The Kiowa language is in danger of going extinct: as of 2012 there were only 20 speakers (of about 12,000 Kiowa ). Today’s ink is a moderately saturated orange-red.

    31 March 2024 – Noodler’s House Divided

I truly find this ink disappointing, which might be the point! I can’t decide what color it is. It’s not really purple. It’s either red, or it’s blue. But I just can’t tell. It’s like it’s trying to be both. Which, again, might be the point! I love this ink!
