As if it couldn’t get better, today’s Iroshizuku is a vibrant, bright,cheerful, well-saturated pink! Maybe it’s not an everyday ink, but it has its place (Gaudete and Laetare Sundays come to mind… maybe Springtime, birthdays…). Enjoy!

The name means “moonlight”, but if you ask me to describe it, I’d go with “Shin-kai on steroids”. On a basic level, this is a basic blue. But it just has so much going on that it hard to boil it down to a one-word description of its color. So, it’s a shading sensation!!!

Take-sumi, or “bamboo charcoal” is another home run. I know some people call this neutral black, but I see brown (or maybe black-brown, but it’s brown). Browns are one of my favorites, and this rich, saturated, bold, handsome color doesn’t disappoint. (Have you ordered your 24 Iroshizuku yet?)

“Pine Tree Dew” is apparently a rough translation of “syo-ro”, and as the quote below affirms, it’s tough to get closer to perfect combination of words to describe the effect of an ink color. Yet another terrific entry in the Iroshizuku line. (They’re kind of like Pokémon: gotta catch them all!)

Here’s a highly saturated emerald green for your enjoyment. There is one discussion bout whether inks that aren’t black or blue can be used in business settings. For. Green, this come very very close to an ink I think might fit the bill. Plus, it’s awesome!
