Inkistry 2025 – 7 January

Another pigmented ink today, which means it’s “Everlasting”. Chimney Soot is rocking my world, because I’ve always been fond of “black ink with stuff going on” (Van Dieman’s Route 66 is my favorite example in this category.) Chimney Soot is a terrific near black.

An ink whose name is a perfect description. Does that make us like an ink more? (If this ink were called “Jet Black”, which it isn’t, we’d like it less, right?)
An awfully nice contrast between these two pigmented inks.
Brilliance from Birmingham!

  1. I would like to see this one in color and I would like to see the sheening or the other properties of it…
