I have a couple of reactions to today’s time in the Inkistry Lab, and I’m not sure how well any of it will show in the photographs. The first is that Fire Hydrant remains strongly present even with a doubling of Fire Lily. The second, and most pleasant, is that the alchemy produced a shading ink! Not Apache Sunset levels of shading (maybe 2.5-3:1 would accomplish that?!), but as I was writing I thought “that’s Fire Hydrant looking… no, wait… that’s Tiger Lily looking!” Love the sheen of the stunning Interstellar Bronze and Tesla Coil, but this beautiful quality of shading seems more ephemeral.
